We responsibly and voluntarily make our contribution to the sustainable development of the economy and this gladly also beyond the legal requirements.
Everything from toner cartridges to cork cones and coffee pads to clothes or shoes left behind is collected for recycling and returned to the reusable material cycle.
Drink water from the most local source. In partnership with the non-proft organization Wasser für Wasser (WfW) we offer local drinking water in highest quality in our minibars, instead of bottled water. WfW uses 100% of our contributions for water, hygiene, and education projects. This is not only ecological, but also social. More on wfw.ch
If you travel entirely by train to us, we will offer you upon check-in a 24 hour ZVV ticket for the public transportation, valid in the city of Zurich.
Our breakfast range includes Fairtrade items as well as products from organic farming and AOP – Specialities with guarantee of origin. We also offer gluten-free and lactose-free products in our breakfast selection. Thanks to the collaboration with “Zürcher Stadthonig” and the work of our two bee colonies on the rooftop, we are able to offer you our homemade honey at breakfast.
As Boutique Hotel PLATZHIRSCH we participate in the sustainability program Swisstainable of Hotellerie Suisse. With the Swisstainable Level I-label, we are committed to continuously developing our business in the direction of sustainability.
