1 Scope ot the contract
These general terms and conditions govern the legal relationship between you and PLATZHIRSCH Hotel & Bar / CONVIVATOR AG hereinafter referred to as Hotel. The reservation/contract confirmation or the offer confirmed by your signature serves as the basis.
2 Option dates
Option dates (offers, order confirmations, etc.) are binding for both parties. After expiration of the option period, use of the reserved rooms/accommodation automatically reverts to Hotel.
3 Cancellation of room reservations
If you have reserved a room without credit card guarantee, we will keep the room for you until 4:00 pm on the arrival date. If you do not arrive by 4:00 pm, disposal of the rooms will automatically revert to the Hotel. If you have guaranteed your reservation by means of a credit card and cannot, or do not want to, make use of the reserved services, you have to cancel your reservation 24 hours prior arrival latest. The cancellation has to occur in written form. In case of late cancellation, no show, late arrival or early departure, overnight stays will, in principle, be charged for the first night.
Reservation made through our Homepage must be guaranteed by credit card. If you provide us with incorrect credit card details, we will be forced to cancel your reservation, even if you have automatically received a confirmation. The indicated respective reservation and cancellation conditions apply. For online reservations with advanced purchase (early booker/non refundable), your credit card will be charged for the entire stay upon reservation.
4 Internet
Our reception team provides you with a personal and free of charge internet login. The guest bears the responsibility for use of the login datas. He is liable for any data abuse or illegal conduct while using internet.
5 Damages
Clients are liable to the Hotel for damages and losses caused by them, their companions or participants, without the Hotel having to prove fault. The Hotel/CONVIVATOR AG declines all responsibility for the theft or damage of materials brought in by the organizers, participants, speakers or third parties. Items that have been locked into the room safe are covered by insurance up to CHF 10’000.00 per occurrence.
No liability can be accepted for any damages on cars parked in public areas.
6 Applicable law and court of jurisdiction
For the legal relationship between you and the PLATZHIRSCH Hotel & Bar / CONVIVATOR AG, Swiss law is applicable. The nullity of individual provisions of the contractual relationship does not lead to nullity of the whole contract. Zurich is the agreed place of jurisdiction, but the PLATZHIRSCH Hotel & Bar / CONVIVATOR AG retains the option to take legal action at the defendant’s place of domicile.
